1. Nala the cat had a habit of visiting her human neighbors to share her love and affection. One day, Nala returned to her owner with a note attached to her collar. How odd, thought Nala’s owner, as she proceeded to read the note. It read: “I don’t know who this cat belongs to, but she comes and visits us every few weeks. She’ll meow outside our backdoor until we let her in; she… walks around the house like its hers; waits at the fridge until my husband and I feed her bologna. She doesn’t like soft cat food very much! We look forward to her visits. We lost our 21 year old cat this year.”
2. Smudge, a young kitten, was playing around one day at the Iowa Ames Pet Hospital, when she dialed 911 on the phone. When police arrived and found no one had called them, workers did their own investigation and found that Smudge was the likely culprit. So they took Smudge’s mug shot, her paw prints and entered her into the system. Yeah, that should teach her.
3. Chantelle Smith, an 18-year-old from West Yorkshire, is convinced that the culprit who stole one of her possessions and held it for ransom is Jamie Lee Sutcliff, now notorious for being quite a practical joker. Chantelle “misplaced” her cigarette lighter and has since received many harrowing – if not downright funny – photographs of her expression-filled lighter being held hostage by a masked and gun-toting…. uhhh… other lighter. Chantelle had to figure out a riddle to get her lighter back alive… or with flame… either way. Aside from being held at gunpoint, her lighter is made to walk the plank into a toilet. It’s also held upsidedown by a rubber band over a valley of tacks. Another photo shows it taped to a microwave! Did Chantelle solve the riddle to get her precious lighter back? Can YOU solve the riddle??? Tune in next week… same Bat time… same Bat channel.
